Stephanie Japel is awesome!!!! I've been wanting to see "Fitted Knits"...

Me + babies = ? So I don't have any suggestions for your nephew... But knitted toys are awesome. Like "Sheldon" (the turtle) from knitty (last issue I think.)

I think that's a very nice pattern. About baby patterns i think i saw some in knitty too. I have to double check and let you know.

thanks. maybe I could even design something myself. But I like the idea of a pattern that is already planned out for a kid his size.

Going along with the Knitty theme, I have always really loved Trellis:

Its such a classic! I think including a Bubby is a really cute idea. :) How many Bubby's have you knit over the years?

oooh trellis is very adorable! I wonder how hard it is...
I am ashamed to say I have only knit 3 bubbys since I made the pattern. I am thinking of experimenting with making other animals. I went to my lys today & they had the most adorable stuffies, a zebra, lion, & elephant that were made in tweed yarns. They were all so fat and squishable. I wanted to get the pattern, but it was $10! I thought, dude, I can so figure that out for free. :-P
I especially love the elephant & I think I'll try to make it & maybe a giraffe for my niece so she doesn't feel left out.
Oh babies, there are so many great things to knit for them <3
