Bitchy Bees Are Famous!
Hey I just wanted everyone to check out this article in the TC

It's about the [info]bitchybees! There were a couple errors, one being the BB's was founded by myself & Robin of [info]catscandance and then soon joined by [info]marydotmusic who is co-maintainer of the Bitchybees website. Mary has been there a lot more than I have these past 4 months since I've been crazy with school :-)
It all prolly would have fallen apart without her!
Also the Bitchybees name was created by myself & Robin after being asked whether or not we were a stitch n' bitch or a knitting bee :-P


Oh well, reporters can't get it right all the time...


EDIT: YARN HARLOT TICKETS ARE FREE AT BEEHIVE WOOL SHOP!!!! If you don't have tix to this event, get yo ass down there and get them!!! Seriously!

She's right, they're free. I just wanted to make sure you got a ticket (because they only had a limited amount), so I picked one up for you. :)

Yeah, I think some quotes were mis-represented too. Though, I'm pretty surprised at what you can get just from some shorthand note-taking!

Yea I have a pic of her crazy notes! I can't even read it.
I did not know Yarn Harlot was free!!!??? Why the heck isn't EVERYONE going!?
Oh I made us a flicker account & it's up on our site now! I'll email you the password and then you can upload your pics too! So far it's just some old photos, cause I don't have access to the more recent ones on this computer. They're on Jeffy's & he is gaming at present.
Well I am sad that I won't see you tonight, but I'll see you next knit nite!

Flickr? Really? YAY!

Ellen (who's been to knit nite a couple of times) tried to get tix, but apparently they're sold out... But then I heard a couple of days ago that they just got more tix... ??

I still might come tonight because it's such a huge deal to have the bees in the paper!!! I might just show up from 6-7... I want to take photos tonight!! Also, do you still have your logo with the bee knitting the scarf? I want to scan it and put it up as our user pic! :)

GAH! I was totally thinking about that today, but I don't actually know where the heck that logo got off to... I will draw it again! I won't have it for tonight tho! Also I was thinking about our member profiles again... does Robin have the info from that night...?

Oh hey, I was wondering if the flickr page can be a "group" rather than an individual because it's easier for other people who already for flickr accounts to transfer their pictures over to the "group". That way I people won't need a password. They can just upload pics! :)

CONGRATS!

I kept a coppy of the article if you want it! totally impressed!
I was chillin in the staff room and I saw it out of the corner of my eye! (we always have a couple copies of the TC around the table up there) I was all "HEY! that's my friend in that article!!"

I didn't know it was going to be so big! a whole page! AWSOME!

and very nice quote by you Nessa... so intelligent you are!~ <3
