Dye Adventure!

Lookee what I did today! (Aside from the brain numbing exam cram)
I had a yarn dyeing adventure...

1. Setup. 2 1/2 hanks of Patons Classic Wool


2.Koolaid: supposed to be sugar-free, but guess what? They snuck sugar in there!!


3. I used Cherry, Grape, & Ice Blue (Lemon Raspberry)... my house still smells.

A mixture I made up... kinda plum-brown... we'll see if I can find a project that'll make it look good.

So I used the sugary Koolaid anyways, and as long as your water is hot when the dye goes in it wasn't too sticky. I just double rinsed my hanks.

Well I'm off to bed.... 1 more study day till final exams!!! Gah!
